Intentionally Act
- Pray that the Lord would enable us to submit our thinking and living to his Word. Seek to conform your view and practice in the areas of our life to what God prescribes in this passage.
- Strive to treat life situations as a gift from God in the coming days. What are some practical ways you should respond to this teaching?
- Look for brothers and sisters in the church and pursue them to build them up and encourage them in the Word with patience, love, and gentleness.
- If you are submitting to the Lord, praise Him and thank Him for His work in your life, both in salvation and in sanctification.
- Remind yourself of the greatness of God’s grace and the flood of forgiveness Christ won for us on the cross. Remind yourself of the transforming power of the work of Christ we studied from Romans 6, that changes and enables us to live in joyful obedient submission to the Lord of Glory.
