Our Resurrection Weekend services begin with our Good Friday Evening Gathering, March 29 at 7:00 pm, and conclude with our regular Sunday activities on Resurrection Sunday Morning, March 31!

Please find below Brett Harris' notes from the Mid-service comments this past Sunday. Take encouragement our salvation is not of our own doing and that we are not saved to a life of solidarity, rather to a life of unity, walking together, to be like Christ Jesus, for His glory.

Believer, we once walked according to the course of this world. We loved the things that they loved, pursued the things that they pursued, hated what they hated. And at that time, we were dead in our sins - dead to God, alive to disobedience. We were separated, distant, from God, with no way, in our own strength, to get to him.

But God, who is rich in mercy, and because of the great love with which he loved us, revealed his son to us. He raised us up with Christ and seated us with him so that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace toward us in Christ.

And in salvation, God also unites us to each other, making us part of his body, the church. God makes one out of many. God brings unity to those who would naturally be divided, peace to those who would naturally hate.

Church, God has chosen you, made you his people, given you his spirit, and loves you as own.
You are the bride, Christ is your husband. You are the body, Christ is your head.

Ephesians 4:1-6a
Therefore, I urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit…one Lord, one faith…one God and Father of all.

Prayer
There is no God in heaven but you. The heavens declare your greatness. Your grace is immeasurable, your love never ends. You chose us. You saved us. You made us alive when we were dead.

Forgive us our sins. Forgive us when our love for you fails. Or when our love for your church is cold. Please forgive us when we are divisive - help us to see our sin. Forgive us when we are proud and seek our own good over the good of your people.

Thank you for this church, that you have built, that you add to, that you preserve. Thank you for the love and unity that you are establishing and maintaining here. Keep us from becoming too inward focused - help us to love each other well, while at the same time, reaching out to others that you have called.

Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever.
Amen
